Celebrate Singapore’s 55th birthday with the Peranakan Firework Flora Pendant! Inspired by the magnificent display of fireworks on National Day, our chief designer drew from the Chinese word for fireworks, or “yan hua” (lit. smoke flowers). Thus, was this masterpiece created, involving an arrangement of traditional Peranakan flowers such as the ixora and the rose, using the transient flora to depict the fleeting fireworks in the sky.
